Western Australian Surfers Of The Year Plaque
This honour board commemorates WA's many talented surfers. It was designed so that it could accommodate one major sponsor and to acknowledge the contributions of 7 other companies (see small company logos along the bottom). It also has 5 certificates along the right hand side of the board which describe the careers of Ian Cairns, Jodie Cooper, Murray Smith and Mike McAuliffe who the awards were named after. The prints of the ocean on the honour board and the five certificates are of renowned WA surfing locations and they set the board off to give it a great deal of appeal.
In addition to the honour board shown above certificates as shown below were presented to the winners as a keepsake of their achievements.
